FUSE and Eve Reverse collaborate on natural fibre composites

FUSE GmbH and Eve Reverse are pleased to announce a new collaboration built around a shared ambition: shortening the route from plant to product.


Natural fibre composites have significant potential in lightweight applications, but wider adoption depends on more than material availability alone. To move from promising fibre technology to real products, companies need access to reliable semi-finished materials, practical processing knowledge, product development support and a clear understanding of where these materials can add value.


This is where the collaboration between FUSE and Eve Reverse comes together.


FUSE Composite develops and produces bio-based natural fibre semi-finished products for lightweight composite applications, using hemp fibres from European cultivation. By focusing on natural fibre materials that are suitable for composite processing, FUSE helps create a more direct and transparent route from agricultural fibre to technical material.


Eve Reverse is dedicated to bringing sustainable composites to the market. The company provides composite materials, composite processing know-how and product development expertise, with a strong focus on practical implementation, testing and application development.

Through this collaboration, Eve Reverse will support FUSE in bringing its materials to a wider market. This includes helping companies evaluate the materials, understand suitable processing routes and translate the potential of natural fibre composites into practical products and applications.


Hemp is a particularly promising fibre in this transition. It grows quickly, is cultivated in Europe and offers attractive properties for selected lightweight composite applications. When processed correctly, hemp-based composites can provide an interesting combination of low weight, stiffness, damping behaviour and reduced reliance on conventional synthetic fibres.


Potential applications include interior panels, sports and leisure products, mobility components, design products, acoustic elements and other lightweight structures where material performance, sustainability and appearance all play an important role.


By combining FUSE’s material expertise with Eve Reverse’s composite processing and application knowledge, the use of natural fibre composites can become more practical, transparent and accessible for companies looking to explore lower-impact material solutions.
