Eve Tile for Aircraft Cowling

Bio-based composites are real high-performance materials, not just an aesthetic option. This was demonstrated in AeroDelft’s newly revealed nose cowling for their hydrogen-powered aircraft.

The part is made using our own Eve Tile Flax in combination with a biobased polyester resin.

The unidirectional fibres in the Eve Tile provide a competitive stiffness-to-weight ratio, making them suitable for stiffness-driven aerospace structures.

Beyond supplying materials, Eve Reverse's team supported the full process, from layup and infusion to demoulding and post-processing, contributing to both material performance and manufacturability.

The Eve Dry Tile is part of our line of minimally processed, aligned natural fibre intermediates. Available in up to 60x60 cm formats, dry or pre-impregnated, they are designed to lower emissions, reduce material waste, and simplify production.

This collaboration with AeroDelft shows how sustainable materials can integrate with advanced aerospace design, and beyond.
